The entire hotel was fairly clean and the room was well decorated and brand-new. Everyone working at this good looking and lovely property was VERY VERY HELPFUL. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The hotel had particularly good and ideal location right by bar restaurant as well as another area/room. Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby The Friar Penketh.

Overall it was luxurious by the leisure facilities. There were central heating, an iron and a work desk, which was great. The location was marvellous and incredible, adjacent to the restaurant, the shop and Parr Hall.

Swimming pool was good size and small childrens pool was good plus had floats for children to use. Excellent family changing rooms - they were separate from other changing rooms, large rooms for all with showers in, lockers and seats for children to be strapped into - brilliant for small children. Breakfast was buffet style, fair choice, plenty of it and hot food was cooked well. Once you found the hotel, location was easy access to motorway. Had 2 rooms for our group and one was a really good size for 2 adults and 2 children, other was a lot smaller. Childrens beds low to the ground, ideal for small children. Staff were friendly and pleasant at reception, at breakfast, at the pool and in restaurant.
Very noisy hotel. Had room above disco and was wedding on a sat night, could hear all music until early hours of the morning plus heard everyone leaving. Could hear all noises in the hotel during the night. Lift was very dodgy, someone broke it with too many people in it but didnt feel very stable most of the time. Shoddy housekeeping - they took our towels away one day and didnt replace with any for 4 of us! Found things left from previous people in our room - down the side of the bed. Sofa bed pulled out for 2 childrens beds and wasnt cleaned underneath - my 2 year old could get underneath and it wasnt clean. Restaurant was nice but bit overpriced, pub across road was better value.

Rooms very contemporary & comfortable.Food in restaurant absolutely fabulous.Sunday carvery amazing & excellent value.Kids (& adults!!) had loads of fun with the large floats that are supplied in the pool. We are very picky but cannot fault this hotel.
Cannot fault this hotel. If I had to complain about something it would be the bad design of the curved bottom step in the pool which could potentially be quite dangerous as both my husband and I and one of our sons slipped and went under the water on a few occasions when entering and getting out of the pool. Once we remembered it was there we knew to step over it but bad design which I think people should be made aware of or should be corrected to a square step. Surprised health and safety have past it.

Clean and Spacious Room with Great Breakfast
The club room was clean and spacious, and I particularly enjoyed the large screen TV. Breakfast was the highlight, served by Alison, and it offered a gorgeous variety that catered to our tastes. The hotel is conveniently located near the town centre. The noise from other rooms could be an inconvenience at times.

It was convenient for our visit to family and an event in the town.
Bedside tables are impractical. The poor design made it quite dangerous to stand hot drinks on.

Had a lovely stay for a family event. The room was very comfortable and spacious, making it a great place to relax. The breakfast offered a wonderful selection, and the staff was incredibly helpful, even surprising us with sweet touches like a balloon for the occasion. The location was perfect, just a short walk to shops and attractions.
